One of the primary reasons we chose this particular plugin was because it allowed us to limit who gets link juice (pagerank) from our dofollows, only after you have posted 3 times on our blog, this helps us by limiting actual spam posts from getting any juice (since we delete the spam posts) they will never see any pagerank increase because of this. But I'll definitely give the plugins a look over, I wasn't aware of any of these others you mentioned here, but they do look like they could really help in getting good commenting participation on our sites.
